I am a personal relationship consultant who works predominantly – one could say, almost exclusively – with men. Why is that? Throughout history, men have been depicted as incapable of emotions and empathy – by other men, mind you. In the opinion of the latter, such things belonged in the meek and chaotic female realm. The results of such indoctrination across eras and cultures have been disastrous, and I am now doing my best to help my clients rediscover their humane (not feminine, but universally human!) side of self. Often the results of such therapy sessions end up in this blog, and I can see how many women will gain from reading them and realizing how many blocks and obstacles society erected for their counterparts on the way to mutual understanding and respect.
